Yet again another dry dog food that is better than all the others (and there are more than enough already) !

Possibly this thought crosses your mind about Cleynes dry food!-- but please take the time to read on because unlike all our competitors we have NOT added a brand new miracle working ingredient to our pet food. Quite to the contrary we have left stuff out.

In most cases these dry cat and dog foods are produced with pre selected raw materials.These products are the so-called “Single Food “ products but in order to meet that definition the addition of extra vitamins is a necessity.

It has however recently been demonstrated that in particular the synthetic vitamin K3(Menadion) needs to be treated with caution.A number of unwelcome and potentially side effects have been noted. Examples of these are

• destabilisation of the red blood cells
• toxicity for liver cells
• potential mutagenic action
• bone structure amomalies
• kidney/spleen damage
